lyrics
Ingrid and Jeff, Ingrid is blind, and Jeff is deaf to the sounds that he hears, upstairs, downstairs and to the things that he sees.
They live in a house, two kids one garden and a big old tree. A cat and a mouse, completes the lines running through their lives.
He doesn't want to go to work, and she finds it hard to see, the kids are unhappy. But what do you do, when there is no chance, for a second romance, and it all comes back to you?
Sunny days fly, windows get washed and children cry, Jeff likes to Braai, Ingrid escapes to get her hair blown dry. There's nowhere to hide, they want to move to the countryside, there's nowhere to run, but once in awhile they still have some fun.
He doesn't want to go to work, and she finds it hard to see, the kids are unhappy. But what do you do, when there is no chance, for a second romance, and it all comes back to you?
"Ingrid,"
"Yes Jeff?"
"We shouldn't have bought that Mercedes,"
"Why?"
"Cause thirty grand can squeeze a hand"
"Well would you pick up, some bread and milk, and Joanne from school, and give Lynn, some bloody attention please!"
He doesn't want to go to work, and she finds it hard to see, the kids are unhappy. But what do you do, when there is no chance, for a second romance, and it all comes back to you?
